Yuca yuca yuca

Some people may be a bit mad at me for doing this but I can't help it.

Yuca is a Mexican food stand on Hillhurst in Los Feliz. It's smaller than my office and the last time I was there, I remember about 4-5 people working inside it! The seating is all outdoors. It's been there forever! Can't remember how long but for more than 10 years, at the very least. The food is primarily prepared in the Yucatan style. AND, they're tortillas are always fresh. Not sure if they make it onsite but it probably saves them money to do so.

I think I've eaten there 3 times in the past 2 weeks. And it's dirt cheap! The carne asada burritos are about $3 and are so much better than the ones I had at El 7 Mares this past week. I can't say much for all of their dishes since I just happened to try it for the first time the other week but I can't wait to try them all - except for anything containing lingua. I'm cool with all that.

If you're looking for some good-tasting Mexican/Yucatan food, try it people. I guarantee you'll love it!
